Did the Muslim chant, "Allah akbar" evolve out of a taunt Muslim barbarians used during the crusades?

Did the Muslim barbarians taunt the Christian crusaders with a chant that was basically saying, "My god is greater than your god!"? Do you find it funny that now in today's world, Muslims aren't claiming their god in greater than the Christian god, they are claiming their god is the same as the Christian god? I guess this indicates the motives of Muslims have changed since the crusades, right?
